The Les Angles picnic area is one of the most beautiful and largest in Europe. Spacious, comfortable and free of charge, it is situated at the top of the slopes in Les Angles, in the Pyrenees, 150 metres from the cable car and at an altitude of 2,100 metres.
Built in 1970 and recently refurbished, it features a constantly burning fire during lunchtime (11.30 am–3.00 pm), tended by two staff members, in a cosy setting. Drop off your picnic in the morning and come and have lunch in the warmth by a large open fire, or on the terrace depending on the weather.
Two large fireplaces allow you to grill roustes, calçots and Catalan black pudding to your heart’s content. Microwaves are available for reheating baby food. A unique mountain experience, for a gourmet family picnic in the heart of the Pyrenees.
